Record a booking for a past date in Rekaz
Yes. An authorised staff member can select an earlier day and a time marked In the past, then save the reservation. This path requires Allow Over Booking or Booking Outside Schedule permission. Selecting an earlier booking date does not automatically record a payment or backdate the order’s creation.
The example records the service قص for September 10, 2026, from 3:00 to 3:20 PM while working on September 14. We chose Pay Later: the earlier appointment was saved, the reservation was Pending and the order was Pending Payment. Use the actual service date and time when entering a previous booking.
Before you start
Reservations → Create Reservation, using a staff account with the required permissions.
A staff account with access to reservation creation, the service and branch, plus Allow Over Booking or Booking Outside Schedule permission to select past slots. Contact your account administrator if those times cannot be selected.
Know the service, price, duration, customer and previous appointment time. Search existing reservations first so that you do not record the same service twice.
These steps cover a staff-created service reservation with a fixed appointment duration. Other service types may show different fields or scheduling controls.
1. Start a staff reservation
Open Reservations and first search for the customer’s previous service to avoid a duplicate. If it is not recorded, select Create Reservation.

2. Select the correct service and branch
Choose the branch and use Search for service... to find the service. Select its price and duration if there are multiple options. The example uses قص at 50 SAR for 20 minutes.

3. Navigate to the earlier day
Within Choose Time, use Previous beside the month to load the required week. Wait for it to appear, check the month and year, then select the day. The example is September 10, 2026.

4. Choose the time and check the provider
Select the actual appointment time marked In the past. The example is 3:00–3:20 PM. Review Date, Time and Specialist in the summary. If selection is unavailable, check permission, service and schedule.

5. Add the customer and review payment
Select Add Customer and find the correct customer profile. Select Add for the service, then Payment. Review the appointment summary and amount, and choose Pay Later to save without recording collection now.

6. Save and wait for success
Review any applicable discount, then select Confirm Reservation. Wait for Reservation Created Successfully. If the result is unclear, search for the booking before saving again.

7. Verify the schedule and both statuses
Select Go to Order, open the service details, then Reservation Information. Check Date & Time and Reservation Status, and review payment status on the order. The example retains September 10, with a Pending reservation and Pending Payment order.

Result
The saved reservation shows the earlier day and time you selected, with reservation and payment states checked separately.
The required permission also allows bookings over capacity or outside working hours. Your account administrator should decide which staff need it; do not assume every employee can select the same slot.
Use Previous beside the month within Choose Time. The Previous button at the bottom returns to a different configuration step. Wait for the earlier week to load before selecting its day.
A faded day can belong to a week that has not loaded, have no service slots or be restricted by permission. Navigate to its week and wait, then check the service, branch and provider if it remains unavailable. If the date is outside the range you can reach, get help instead of recording an incorrect day.
In the past describes the appointment time. It does not prove that the service was completed or paid. Review the resulting statuses after saving.
Check who actually performed the service. Any available beautician can assign a provider automatically; review the Specialist in the summary or choose the intended person before adding the service. Permission does not make an overlapping or out-of-schedule booking an accurate historical record by itself.
Check the end time as well as the start. The example service lasts 20 minutes. A different service, price option or duration can change the available times; selecting the day alone is insufficient.
Your service and customer names may differ from the pictures. Business-entered names are not automatically translated when the interface language changes.
Adding the service to the summary does not finish saving the reservation. Complete payment or the Pay Later confirmation, then wait for the success message.
Choose Pay Later when you want to record a booking without recording collection now. If a real payment exists, check the order’s existing transactions and the correct payment method and collection date before recording it, to avoid duplication. This example creates no payment transaction.
Confirm Reservation in the Pay Later dialog saves this flow; it did not set this example’s status to Confirmed. The result was Pending with an order marked Pending Payment. Check both statuses rather than inferring them from the button name.
The appointment date is separate from order and collection dates. Here the appointment is September 10, the displayed order dates are September 14, and there is no collection date because the order is unpaid. Choosing a past appointment does not move all those dates backwards.
When finding the booking later, use a date range covering the appointment day, not only the day it was entered. Appointment reports and collection reports answer different questions; select the relevant date basis before interpreting totals.
If no success message appears or the save result is uncertain, search Reservations for the customer, date and time before trying again. If an existing record needs correction, review editing it instead of creating a duplicate.
