Request the customer’s location for website bookings in Rekaz
Assign the service to a provider with Geographical location and coverage area enabled and an appropriate saved service area. Continuing on the customer website opens Service Location. A signed-out visitor sees Verify Phone Number before entering a location. Renaming a service “home service” or adding a text address question is not sufficient.
This uses the native location step tied to provider coverage. The example home service is assigned to a provider with a saved area, without custom questions or customer provider selection. The procedure enables the location request and checks its entry point.
Before you start
Settings → Beauty Experts → provider profile; then Services → edit the service.
Access to edit providers and service assignments. The provider label can vary by business type.
A provider with suitable working hours and a real service area, or an appropriate existing source area to copy. Inspect the area rather than copying arbitrary settings.
A published reservation service with a customer website link. Have a phone you own available when completing sign-in and location-entry testing.
1. Enable coverage and save the service area
Open the home provider’s profile under Beauty Experts. Enable Geographical location and coverage area and choose Draw the service area. If another provider has an appropriate area, choose Copy from another provider and review any replacement. Inspect the boundary and optional fees according to your policy. Save and reopen the profile.

2. Assign the service to the geographic provider
Edit the reservation service and open Beauty Experts & Schedules. Under Choose Beauty Experts, select the provider with appropriate coverage and check all selections. Choose Update Service and reopen to verify. Customer provider selection does not need to be enabled for the location step in this example.

3. Check the location request on the customer website
Open the published service using Actions → View, then choose Continue. Service Location appears. A signed-out visitor is prompted to Verify Phone Number before entering a location. Complete testing with your own phone when ready, then review the location, appointments and fees before confirming any booking.

Result
Choosing Continue for the home service opens Service Location, with phone verification required for a signed-out visitor.
No custom location question was added in this example. Provider coverage and the service assignment made the native map step appear. A text address question is different and does not itself prove that an address is inside the service area.
Allow customer to choose Beauty Expert is separate from location collection. It stayed off in the example while Service Location still appeared.
Review every provider assigned to the service. The branch comparison with a non-geographic provider opened Appointment directly. Adding a geographic provider to that same service made Service Location appear; removing it restored Appointment.
Branch Availability does not draw a home-service area. Branches control where the provider is available within the business, while coverage describes the geographic service region.
Copy from another provider can ask to replace the current location when one already exists. Check the source and target record before confirming, then inspect boundaries and fees and reopen after saving.
The area fee is separate from enabling coverage. The screenshot shows a 20 SAR example fee, but the fee amount is not the control that requires location entry. Do not infer the final payable total from an area setting alone.
If phone verification appears before location entry, check the country and your correct mobile number and follow the normal verification flow. Do not use another customer’s number. Closing the prompt before signing in does not establish that the location field is missing or unsupported.
After sign-in, test an address inside the area and one outside, and inspect appointments and fees before operational rollout. Seeing the Service Location heading alone is not proof that every address is accepted or a booking is confirmed.
If the location step does not appear, check that you opened the intended service, saved the provider and service changes, and kept coverage enabled with the correct area. A service name or description containing “home service” does not replace the provider assignment.
Changing a shared provider’s coverage may affect its other services. Review assignments first, and do not duplicate one person’s provider record while assuming bookings automatically avoid conflicts across both records.
