Website customer settings in Rekaz: required details, pauses and cancellation
Decide what information customers provide and which changes they may request themselves. Read the options revealed by each switch before deciding whether to enable it.
Settings → Website Options → Customer
Make mobile number required for customers?
Turn this on when a mobile number is required for the customer record. A business that needs to call customers about appointment changes can use it to make the number part of the required information. Review the customer form after changing it so your team knows what must be entered.
Separate First and Last Name
Enable this when you want customer names entered as separate first-name and last-name fields. Consider how your staff searches for and addresses customers. Review the customer form after changing the setting so the team understands the expected entry format.

Required customer information and self-service choices
Allow customers to pause their subscriptions from the website
Enable this to let customers pause their subscriptions from the website. The page points to additional pause options when creating or editing a service. Review those options too: this general switch does not define every subscription’s pause allowance or conditions.
Allow customer to request cancellation of reservation from website
Enable this when customers should be able to initiate cancellation of their own reservations. It reveals two further choices: whether cancellation needs approval and how close to the start time cancellation is allowed.
Decide the whole policy together. Allowing cancellation does not automatically mean every request should bypass staff review or remain available until the appointment starts.
Cancellation requires approval
Use this when staff should review a customer’s cancellation request. Keep the customer-facing terms and success messages consistent with that process, so a request for cancellation is not described as an immediately completed cancellation.
Cancellation deadline: amount and Minutes / Hours / Days
Enter how long before the reservation starts customers must stop being able to cancel. Choose Minutes, Hours or Days beside the number. The unit is part of the rule: 2 hours and 2 days create very different cancellation windows.
For example, a two-hour deadline on a 4 pm appointment means the customer should not be able to cancel during the final two hours before it starts. Use a whole number of minutes when you need a precise small interval, and review the displayed value and unit together before saving.

Save
Save applies the Website Options form across its tabs. Review all your unsaved changes before saving, including tabs you have left. A preview alone does not apply the settings.
If a required field is missing, correct the highlighted field. For example, an enabled banner needs its announcement text, and maintenance mode needs both a title and a description.
