Rekaz customer template records: every input and record action
Use a template record to keep related information together for one customer. This example uses hair-care preferences to show text, choices, dates, colours and attachments. Your field names depend on the template configured by your business.
Customers → customer profile → template section → Add or Edit
Add under the template
Open the customer’s profile, find the template section and press Add. This creates a new record for that customer. If you want to correct an existing record, use its Edit button instead so you do not create a duplicate.
Text value
Enter the information requested by the label. For Styling notes, write a practical instruction such as Keep the front layers long. Changing the platform language translates the field label, but your entered text stays as you wrote it.
Number value
Enter the amount in the unit shown by the label. For Hair length in cm, enter 32.5 rather than adding cm inside the value. If the label does not identify a necessary unit, clarify it with the person maintaining the template before recording measurements.
Yes/No checkbox
Check the box when the statement is true; leave it unchecked for No. For Prefers a quiet appointment, a checked box records Yes. Review the actual question rather than treating an unchecked box as missing information.
Date button and day selection
Open the date button and select the intended day. Read the displayed date afterwards. The field records a date without a time; choosing a date here does not create or move a reservation.
Previous / Next Month
Use the calendar arrows to move one month at a time. Check the month heading before choosing a day, particularly when the first or last week includes days from the neighbouring month.
Choose the Month / Year
Use the month and year selectors for a date far from today instead of clicking the arrows repeatedly. Then choose the day. Changing the displayed month alone is not the same as selecting the date you want to record.
Single-choice list
Open the list and choose one answer. Selecting another answer replaces the current choice. If the field is required, leaving it at Pick prevents saving and displays a required-field message.
Multi Select
Open the selector and choose every answer that applies. The selected values appear as labels in the control. For example, Moisturizing and Styling can both be selected when the customer is interested in both.
Search choices
Type in the selection menu’s search box to find an existing option. Searching does not create a new choice or replace the template’s options. If the answer is absent, ask the template owner to add a suitable option.
Select All
Select All is useful only when every listed choice applies. Review the selected labels before closing the menu; it is easy to record extra interests by selecting everything for convenience.
Remove a choice / clear selection
Use the removal control in the selector to clear unwanted selections, or reopen the menu and deselect a choice. Review the remaining labels. Removing a selected answer from this record does not remove the option from the template.
Close the choices menu
Close dismisses the choices menu while keeping the current selection in the record form. You still need Save to store the record.
Maps: location text
This platform form currently provides a text area for a Maps field. Enter a clear location description in the format your team uses, such as district and city. The field does not open a map picker or verify the address for you.
Colour picker
Click the colour well and choose the intended colour in the browser’s picker. New records start with black, so review the colour even when the field already appears filled. A saved record shows the colour and its code.

Example of the actual customer record inputs
Upload document
Choose the document requested by this field. The limit is 10 MB per file; an oversized file is rejected with a size message. Wait until the uploaded file appears before saving. The field holds one file, so use Change to replace it.
Upload image
Choose an image for this record, such as a reference hairstyle. Wait for its thumbnail before saving. The same 10 MB limit applies. This is a record attachment; it does not change the customer’s profile or website images.
Uploaded file link
Click the file link to open the uploaded item. Check that it is the right document or picture before using the record. The displayed name may be different from the original file name, so the content is the useful check.
Change attachment
Change opens file selection for this field. Choose the replacement and wait for it to finish uploading. Check the replacement before saving, especially when the record contains both a document field and an image field.
Remove attachment
Remove clears the attachment from the current form and brings back its upload button. Other file fields are independent. Save applies the record change; removal here should not be treated as confirmation that every stored copy of the uploaded file has been deleted.
Save record
Review the customer, template and values, then Save. Correct any required-field message and try again. After the dialog closes, check the new record’s values in the template section.
For edits, Save updates the existing record. Read back dates, selected choices and files rather than relying only on the success message.
Cancel / Close
Leave the record dialog without saving its current changes. If editing an existing record, the saved version remains. If you uploaded a file before cancelling, cancellation is not proof that the uploaded file was removed from storage.
Record heading
The dated heading expands or collapses one saved record. Expand it to read the values and find Edit and Delete. A customer can have more than one record under the same template, so check which dated record you opened.
Edit
Edit opens the selected record with its saved values. Change only what needs correcting and save. The template defines which fields appear; changing one customer’s value does not rename that field for other customers.
Delete and confirmation
Delete asks you to confirm removal of the selected record. Cancel keeps it. Confirm only after checking the customer and record; after deletion, a template with no remaining records shows No records found. This does not delete the template definition.
