Prepare a custom subscription payment reminder in Rekaz

Last updated: September 15, 2026

Copy the existing subscription order’s payment link and include it in your own reminder text through your customer communication channel. Copy Payment Link only copies the link; it does not send a reminder or record a payment. The order’s Share Payment Link section has no custom-message text editor.

Start from the customer’s existing subscription so the reminder refers to the correct order. Check the outstanding balance, then choose the full payment link or a partial-payment link according to your agreement. Preparing the link and text, sending the message and verifying payment are separate actions.

Before you start

Rekaz dashboard → Orders → Subscriptions → the subscription’s order.

  • Access to subscriptions and orders in the correct business, with the customer name or subscription number available.

  • An existing subscription order with an outstanding balance and an available payment link. The example monthly subscription order totals 300 SAR, with 0 paid and 300 remaining.

  • Check the customer, service, dates and order. Matching names or prices alone do not identify the correct subscription.

1. Find the correct subscription and order

Open Orders → Subscriptions. Search by customer or subscription number. For this example, choose Pending Payment, then check the customer, service and dates. Click the order amount in that subscription row to open its related order. View opens subscription details rather than the payment page.

2. Check the balance and copy the full payment link

Check Remaining Amount and the payment status. The example has 300 SAR remaining with no payment. In Share Payment Link, choose Copy Payment Link. Paste it alongside the suggested reminder text in your customer communication channel, and check the recipient and amount before sending. Copying alone sends no message.

3. Prepare a partial link when appropriate

For an agreed part-payment, choose Partial Payment. Enter 100, for example, from a 300 balance. Wait for the link, then choose Copy link. Make clear in your message that it requests 100 only. Choose Close to return and confirm that copying has not changed the paid amount or balance.

The correct order link is ready to include in a personal message. The order’s paid amount and status remain unchanged until an actual payment occurs.

Suggested editable message: “Hello [customer name], this is a reminder that [amount] SAR remains due for your [service name] subscription, order [order number]. You can pay using [payment link]. If you have already paid, please contact us so we can check the transaction. Thank you, [business name].” Replace the brackets with the actual details before sending.

For an agreed partial payment, state “100 SAR is requested now from the 300 SAR outstanding balance” and attach the 100 link, not the full payment link. Do not describe 200 as the current balance before 100 has actually been received.

Paste the link and personal text into your usual communication channel. Check the recipient, amount and order number before sending. Preparing text or copying a link in Rekaz does not confirm that a message was sent, delivered or read.

Send to customer in the link section is a WhatsApp link containing a recipient and prepared text. This section has no custom-message input. Distinguish the shortcut from automatic notification template editing and from evidence that a reminder reached the customer.

Pending Payment filters subscription status; it is not a complete list of every outstanding order balance. If the subscription is missing, return to All, locate it and inspect Remaining Amount in its order.

For Partial Payment, enter an amount greater than zero and lower than the balance. With 300 remaining,100 produces a link;0 and 300 do not produce a partial link, and 301 shows an over-amount error. To request all 300, use Copy Payment Link or the full Payment link option.

Wait until the link is ready before choosing Copy link. If copying stays disabled, check the amount and balance, then your connection and any error. A missing link does not mean a payment or order change occurred.

Copying a partial link does not reduce the order total, record a receipt or activate the subscription. The example still showed 0 paid and 300 remaining after copying. Check the order’s payment transactions and balance when following up; opening a link is not proof of payment.

A reminder for an existing subscription differs from renewal or a new subscription purchase. Do not renew, activate or use Pay Order merely to prepare a reminder; those actions are separate from copying the current order link.

For a paid, cancelled or refunded order, review its status and handling before requesting more money. Avoid duplicate reminders after payment, and never send one customer’s payment link to another person.
