Website identity in Rekaz: logo, icon, name and description

Set the name and images customers recognize, then write a description that accurately introduces your business. Each language version and each image has its own control.

Brand Logo

Choose the logo customers should recognize on the website and invoices. The image hint recommends 400 × 100 pixels. Start with a clear version of your actual logo, with enough space around its lettering that cropping will not cut off the name. The logo and browser-tab icon are separate images: changing one does not supply the other.

Select the image control to open its actions. With an existing image, Edit current image lets you adjust its crop, while Upload new image lets you choose a replacement. For the logo, choose a JPG, JPEG or PNG file. Review the resulting preview before saving the page; the file you select and the portion you keep are two separate decisions.

Browser Tab Icon

This is the small symbol beside the website name in a browser tab. The recommended size is 32 × 32 pixels. A simple symbol generally remains more recognizable at that size than a full logo with small text. The icon crop is square. You can select ICO, PNG, JPG or JPEG files in this control.

Use its own image action menu to edit or replace it. Selecting a new brand logo does not mean this smaller icon has also changed.

Crop Image: selection, Apply and Cancel

Adjust the selected area until it contains the part of the image you want to keep. For an icon, work within the square crop. In the logo editor, inspect the shape of the selection instead of assuming the recommended image dimensions force a crop of that shape.

Apply accepts the selected crop and starts preparing the replacement image for the form. Wait for the image preview to finish updating before saving the website settings. Cancel leaves the current form image unchanged. Opening the crop editor alone does not replace an image.

Remove image is available when editing the current image. It opens a separate confirmation. Use Cancel in that confirmation if you only intended to change the crop. Confirm Remove only when you want the form to have no image in that slot, then review the page before saving the change.

Brand Name and language selector

Enter the business name customers should see on the website. Use the name they know you by, with consistent spelling across your booking pages and communications. This field is customer-facing; an internal account nickname is not a useful substitute.

The language selector belongs to the name field. Enter the Arabic and English versions separately when your website serves both languages. Selecting a language does not translate text automatically or switch the whole platform interface.

Describe what the business offers in language a first-time customer can understand. A useful description tells them what they can book and, when relevant, the kind of experience or location you provide. For example: “A salon in north Riyadh offering haircuts, styling and hair treatments by appointment.” Replace those details with your actual services and location; do not add claims your business cannot support.

Write each language version using the field’s language selector. A sentence in Arabic entered while English is selected remains the English version’s content; the selector identifies the version you are editing, not the language it detects.

Write with AI

Start with a description containing the facts you want to keep. Open Write with AI, then use Ask for a change… to explain the revision you want, such as "Shorten this to two sentences and keep the service names." With no specific instruction, Improve requests a general revision. When you enter an instruction, the action becomes Generate suggestion. Cancel closes the initial prompt without applying a replacement.

Treat the result as proposed wording. Check service names, location, promises and translations before applying it. Requesting a suggestion is a separate action from accepting it into the field, and accepting it into the field is separate from saving the page.

Save

Save applies the Website Options form across its tabs. Review all your unsaved changes before saving, including tabs you have left. A preview alone does not apply the settings.

If a required field is missing, correct the highlighted field. For example, an enabled banner needs its announcement text, and maintenance mode needs both a title and a description.
