Rekaz Apple Wallet settings: activation and pass banners

Configure the platform’s Apple Wallet option and the separate images used for reservation and subscription passes. Select each picture, check its crop, then save the page.

Allow customers to add reservations and subscriptions to Apple Wallet

Turn this on when you want customers to have the Add to Apple Wallet option for reservations and subscriptions. Review the two banner settings below it, then save the page.

Turning the switch off leaves the banner-editing controls visible. Treat enabling the feature and choosing its images as separate decisions; an uploaded banner does not turn the switch on for you.

Reservation Pass Image

Choose the artwork for reservation passes here. This slot is independent of Subscription Pass Image: uploading a reservation banner does not fill the subscription slot.

The reservation slot is shallower than the subscription slot. Use wide artwork with its important details away from the edges. A tall logo or a line of text near the top can be cut off when fitted into the banner.

Subscription Pass Image

Choose the artwork for subscription passes separately. You can use the same design in both slots, but you must select and review each one.

For example, a business may want the same brand artwork on both types of pass. Upload it to each slot and check each crop instead of assuming the reservation upload also updated subscriptions.

Click the empty reservation image area and select a JPG, JPEG or PNG picture. The next step is Crop Image. Choose an image that still makes sense as a short horizontal strip, rather than a whole poster with small text.

Use the upload area under Subscription Passes for the subscription banner. Check the section title before choosing a file so you do not replace the other type of pass by mistake.

Move the crop area

The bright rectangle identifies the part of the picture that will be kept. Drag inside it to move the selection over the detail you want. Areas outside it will not be included in the cropped picture.

Resize the crop using its handles

Use the handles at the crop edges to adjust the selected area. The crop keeps a wide shape. If the important design cannot fit inside that shape, cancel and choose wider artwork rather than accepting a cut-off logo or sentence.

Only the area inside the crop frame becomes the banner

Apply

Apply accepts the current crop and uploads it into the selected banner slot. Wait for the image to appear before continuing. Review the actual banner preview, because its frame can show less of the artwork than the large crop window.

Apply does not replace the page’s Save step. Once both banners and the activation switch are ready, save the settings.

Crop Image: Cancel

Cancel leaves the crop window without applying the new picture. If you opened it to replace an existing banner, the previous banner stays in place.

Crop Image: Close

The close icon dismisses the crop window. Reopen the image chooser when you are ready to select another file; closing the crop is not a save action.

Reservation: Change — pencil

The pencil on the reservation banner opens file selection again. Choose a replacement and review its crop. Cancel the crop if you decide the existing banner is better.

Change or remove the reservation banner independently

Subscription: Change — pencil

Use the subscription banner’s own pencil to replace that image. The reservation banner has a separate change button and remains a separate choice.

Reservation: Remove — ×

Remove clears the reservation image from the form and restores its empty upload area. It does not clear the subscription image. Save if you want the removal to remain after reopening the page.

Subscription: Remove — ×

Remove on the subscription banner clears that slot only. Check both sections before saving, particularly if you intended to change a picture rather than leave the slot empty.

Save

Save stores the activation choice and the current images in both slots. Reopen the page to confirm the result. A picture appearing after Apply shows that it reached the form; it does not replace this settings save.

Review both images after saving, including the one you did not intend to change. If you remove a banner while comparing designs, restore it before saving unless you want to keep that removal.
