Rekaz specialists: every weekly working-hours control

Last updated: September 22, 2026

Build the week from the hours the specialist can actually work. A day can contain more than one working period, which is useful for a lunch break or a split shift. Read the individual start and end times rather than relying only on the duration shown beside the day.

Day switches

Enable the days that belong in this recurring schedule and disable days off. Turning a day off removes all of that day’s periods. At least one day must remain enabled before Add can succeed.

Turning the day back on creates a 9:00 AM–5:00 PM period. It does not restore the hours you removed. Review each enabled day rather than assuming the initial pattern fits the specialist.

Start Time / End Time: hours, minutes and period

Open either time field and choose its hour, minute and AM/PM period. The minute choices are in five-minute steps. Check all three parts: 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM are very different working times.

Use the timezone shown above the weekly schedule when interpreting these hours. In the pictured account it is Riyadh (GMT+3). Do not silently substitute the timezone of someone viewing the schedule from elsewhere.

Add a working period (+)

The plus beside a day adds another start/end pair to that day. Review the suggested times immediately; they are a starting point for editing.

For example, enter 9:00 AM–1:00 PM and 2:00 PM–6:00 PM when the specialist takes a one-hour break. Keeping two separate periods expresses the gap; a single 9:00 AM–6:00 PM period does not. Check for accidental overlap between your periods.

Duration beside the day

The displayed duration spans the first period’s start to the last period’s end, including gaps. It is not the sum of working time across separate periods.

For 9:00 AM–5:00 PM and 6:00 PM–8:30 PM, the label is 11h 30m. The actual periods total 10h 30m, with a one-hour gap. Use the individual periods when checking staffed hours.

Copy to all

The copy icon beside a day copies all of that day’s periods to the other enabled days. It replaces their current periods. Disabled days stay disabled.

Set one representative day carefully, then copy it when several working days share those hours. Review any day that normally has shorter hours afterward, because its previous periods have been replaced.

Remove a period

The trash icon beside a period removes that period from the draft. When it is the day’s last period, the day becomes disabled and shows no working hours.

To remove only an evening period, use that row’s trash icon rather than turning the whole day off. The day switch removes every period for that day.

A period ending the next day

An end time earlier on the clock than the start can represent work continuing past midnight. Review AM/PM carefully before treating that as a normal daytime range.

The editor rejects more than one overnight period for the same day and asks you to fix the schedule before saving. If a second period was intended to end that evening, correct its AM/PM setting rather than changing an unrelated day.
