Rekaz specialist profiles: name, description and branches

Last updated: September 22, 2026

Open the specialist’s name from the list to edit the profile. Use a description that helps someone understand the specialist’s work, and assign branches according to where that person actually provides services.

Specialists → specialist name

Name

This is the specialist’s identifying name. It is required in the profile as well as during creation; saving an empty name shows a validation message.

Check the page heading before editing when names are similar. The name field is a single value here, so changing the platform language does not provide a separate translated-name input.

Description

Use a short, factual description of the specialist’s work, such as “Hair cutting and styling appointments.” Keep dates and working hours in the schedule so the description does not become outdated every time availability changes.

This is a separate text field from Name. Edit it directly and save the profile when the wording is ready.

Profile picture: pencil button

Click the pencil beside the round profile picture and choose a JPG, JPEG or PNG image. Use a clear portrait with the face near the centre: the profile displays the picture in a circle, so content near the corners will not be visible.

Wait for the image preview to appear, then use Save at the top of the profile. Reopen the specialist to check the saved result. To replace a picture, use the pencil again and choose the new file.

Remove picture: ×

When a picture is present, its × removes it from the profile draft and restores the person icon. Save the profile to keep that removal.

This removes the profile picture, not the specialist. The name and the rest of the profile remain. You can leave the picture empty or choose a replacement before saving.

Branch Availability / Branches

Choose the branches where this specialist is available. More than one branch can be selected, and the chosen names appear in the field.

An empty selection means available in all branches. If the specialist works at only one location, select that location explicitly. Removing the last selected branch broadens the scope to all branches; it does not make the specialist unavailable everywhere.

Search, select and close the branch picker

Search within the branch list to narrow its choices. Selected branches remain selected while another search hides them. Select a branch again to remove it.

Clear the search to review the full list. Close dismisses the picker, while the profile’s Save button stores the branch assignment. Review the resulting branch names before saving.

Save

Save stores the profile edits and returns to the specialist list. Reopen the specialist to review the saved name, description and branches.

The branch picker’s Close action does not save the profile. Finish with Save after reviewing the other changed fields, including capacity, buffer and commission if you edited them.
