Rekaz specialists: WhatsApp notification recipients

This section lists the people who should receive WhatsApp alerts when this specialist’s reservations are created or changed. Choose the intended recipients and each recipient’s notification language. The list belongs to this specialist, so check whose profile you opened before adding or removing a number.

Add Number

Open Add Number to enter one recipient. For example, add the number used by the person coordinating this specialist’s appointments. Use a number that should receive reservation details, rather than treating this as a general customer contact field.

Each new form starts with an empty phone field. In the pictured account it opens with Saudi Arabia selected and Arabic as the notification language. Review both choices for the recipient.

Choose a country

Open the flag beside the phone field to choose the number’s country. You can search country names, then check the dialing code beside the result before selecting it.

The country must match the phone number, not the specialist’s workplace or your current location. Selecting United Kingdom changes the phone format to +44; entering a complete international number can also change the selected country.

Phone Number

Enter the recipient’s full number and check the country code. The pale example inside an empty field is a formatting hint, not a saved recipient. Save remains disabled while the phone entry is missing or not accepted.

Before saving, check the displayed number for a wrong country or missing digits. A number that passes the form’s checks still needs to be the intended recipient’s WhatsApp number; those checks do not prove who owns it.

Notifications language

Choose Arabic or English for this recipient’s alerts. This is separate from the language you use to navigate Rekaz. You can work in English and keep a recipient’s alerts in Arabic, or the reverse.

For a coordinator who reads English, select English on that coordinator’s number. Other recipients retain their own language choices. Review the language shown beneath the number after saving.

Save / Cancel

Save in this dialog saves the notification contact and returns to the profile. Check that its number and language appear in the list. This dialog has its own save action; it does not wait for the profile’s top Save button.

Cancel or Close abandons the dialog changes. Opening Add Number again starts a fresh entry, so a language or country chosen in a canceled draft should not be assumed to carry over.

Adding a number already listed

Adding the same number again does not create a second recipient entry. It also does not change the existing recipient’s language to the language chosen in the new-number form.

To change a listed recipient’s language or number, use Edit on that row. This makes the intended update explicit instead of repeatedly adding the same number.

If Save is disabled when editing

Check both the saved number and its country when you open Edit. If a number is displayed but Save is disabled, re-enter the complete international number with its leading + and country code, then review the country shown beside it.

In the pictured example, re-entering the full number made Save available. Review the recipient’s language as well before saving. If it remains disabled, cancel and check the number with its owner.

Edit number

Use Edit beside the recipient you want to change. Update the phone number or notification language and choose Save, then check the row again.

If you only intend to change the language, keep the same recipient number. Cancel leaves the previously saved number and language in place.

Ten-number limit

A specialist can have up to ten notification numbers. Add Number becomes disabled when the list reaches ten. Existing entries still have Edit and Delete actions.

If the list is full, review whether every recipient still needs these alerts. Removing an obsolete entry makes Add Number available again. Editing an existing recipient is the appropriate choice when you are replacing that person’s number.

Remove Number

Choose Delete beside the intended recipient. The confirmation names the number and explains that it will no longer receive WhatsApp reservation notifications. Cancel keeps it; Delete removes it from this specialist’s list.

Check the remaining list afterward. If you remove the last recipient, the section returns to its no-numbers state. Removing a recipient does not delete the specialist profile.
