Rekaz services: customer specialist choice and labels

First choose which specialists can provide the service. The Options section then controls whether the customer gets a specialist choice and how that choice is described. A custom label changes the wording, not the specialists’ names or working hours.

Service Reservation → Beauty Experts & Schedules → Options

Allow customer to choose Beauty Expert

Turn this on to offer a specialist choice for the service. It opens the single/multiple choice and the option to customize the customer-facing label. It is separate from your own selection of eligible specialists above.

Turning it off and on again resets the single/multiple setting to Single Beauty Expert. Review that setting again if you previously allowed more than one specialist.

Single Beauty Expert

Choose this for a service whose customer choice concerns one specialist. For example, the customer chooses the stylist for a haircut rather than requesting several stylists for the same booking.

This choice does not mean that only one specialist can offer the service. You still select eligible specialists in the provider list; this setting describes the customer’s choice for a booking.

Re-enabling the choice selects Single again

Multiple Beauty Experts

Choose this when the service should allow requesting more than one specialist. Review it separately from the number of people in the booking: several customers and several specialists are different requirements.

Enabling this option does not add staff to your eligible-specialist list or extend their schedules. Make sure that list reflects who actually provides the service.

Customize the label shown to customers

Enable this when you want a specific instruction instead of the standard specialist-choice wording. It reveals a localized text field under the switch.

Use wording that helps the customer make the choice. Choose your stylist is useful; a staff member’s name here would be confusing because this is the instruction for the whole selector, not one selectable person.

Choose Beauty Experts Label

Enter a short, direct instruction. Keep the wording consistent with the selected single/multiple option. If customers may request several specialists, avoid wording that explicitly says to choose only one.

Changing this text does not rename a specialist or change availability. Review the actual service settings separately from the wording.

Label language selector

Enter each language’s instruction separately using the selector beside the text. For example, Choose your stylist and اختاري أخصائيتك express the same instruction for different readers.

Switch back to review each version. Changing the platform interface language is not a substitute for entering the customer-facing translation.
