Rekaz pricing rules: replacement price, discount or addition
The Then row defines what the rule should do to the price. Decide whether you want to replace the service price, take an amount off, or add an amount. The same number can mean very different things in these three actions.

Choose Service price, Discount or Additional amount after configuring the condition above. The inputs that follow change with the action.
For a service with an original price of 150, a target price of 120 is expressed differently from a discount amount of 30. Choose the action before typing the number.
Service price: amount
Enter the replacement service price you intend for the condition. To specify a price of SAR 120, choose Service price and enter 120. Do not enter the saving of 30 in this field.
This action describes the service price, not a deposit. If you are setting an amount paid toward a booking, use Add Deposit in Customize instead.

Discount
Choose Discount when the entered value describes a reduction. Then select whether the reduction is a Fixed amount or a Percentage. The selector changes the meaning of the number beside it.
A discount of 30 and a final service price of 30 are different instructions. Read the action name and calculation type together when reviewing the rule.
Specified as → Fixed amount
Enter a currency amount. A fixed discount of 30 describes SAR 30 off, whereas an additional fixed amount of 30 describes SAR 30 added. The action controls the direction.
This field differs from Price after discount on the main form. For an original price of 150 and an intended reduction of 30, the direct-discount field takes 120, but this fixed-discount input takes 30.

Specified as → Percentage
Enter the percentage number: 20 for twenty percent. Do not enter the decimal fraction 0.20 when you mean 20%. The rule summary uses a % sign to help you check what you configured.
As a calculation example, 20% of 150 is 30. That explains why a 20% discount and a fixed discount of 30 describe the same reduction at that price, but not necessarily at another original price.

Additional amount
Choose this when the condition should express a price increase. Then choose Fixed amount for a currency addition, or Percentage for a proportional increase. Check the summary for Additional amount rather than Discount.
This is a pricing action within the rule. It is separate from adding an optional extra service that the customer can select during booking. Use the service’s add-ons controls for that different purpose.
An additional amount increases rather than discounts the price
Changing the action or calculation type
After changing the action or switching between Fixed amount and Percentage, enter and review the number again. Do not assume the form converted the previous amount into an equivalent percentage.
For example, switching a fixed discount of 30 to Percentage does not itself mean 20% off a price of 150. Set 20 deliberately, leave the field, and check that the summary says Discount 20% before saving.
