Rekaz services: add a category from the service form

Use Add Category when the service needs an organization category that does not yet exist. Saving this dialog creates the category immediately and selects it on the service draft; creating the service is a separate action.

Add Category

Open the Category picker in Advanced Options and choose Add Category. The dialog creates a category rather than another service. You can also select an existing category without opening this dialog.

Category title

Enter the name customers should recognize, such as “Hair care”. The title is required. A blank title produces a message asking for the name in the platform’s current language.

Use the language selector to provide Arabic and English names separately. Check both before saving; changing the selected language is not a translation request.

URL slug

Edit the final part of the category address, after the fixed website prefix. For example, “hair-care” is a readable ending for the Hair care category. Enter the ending, not the full website address.

The input accepts up to 100 characters. Leaving the field can reformat the text: “Hair Care Example” becomes “hair-care-example”. Wait for the field to settle and read the final value before copying or saving the link.

Copy Link

Copy Link is beside the category address. Review the final URL ending first, and save the category before using its link in customer-facing material. Copying an address does not create the category.

SEO description

Write a short, accurate description of the category for search engines and sharing previews. Explain what the services have in common rather than repeating the category title.

For Hair care, “Haircuts, styling and hair care. Choose a service and an appointment that suit you” tells readers what they can find. Do not add a discount, location or promise that does not apply to the category. The description has its own language selector.

Branch

Review the category’s branch selection before saving. When you open the dialog from a service that already has selected branches, those branches are initially selected for the new category too.

Leave the category branch selection empty only when it should be shown in all branches, as the helper text explains. A branch-specific category can later restrict compatible service and branch choices; its scope is not merely a note.

Save

Save creates the category and returns to the service with the new category selected. The service itself is still a draft until you create or save it.

If you later leave the service without saving, the category you created remains in the account. Do not create it again just because the service draft was discarded; look for it in the category list.

Cancel / Close

Cancel leaves without creating a category. On reopening, review the fields and the inherited branch selection before entering a new category.

If you have just changed the URL, let its formatting finish before leaving the dialog. Check the final value when you reopen rather than assuming the previous text is the value you intend to save.
