Rekaz services: gaps, simultaneous bookings and people per booking

These controls answer three separate questions: how much time to leave between bookings, how many bookings may share a time slot, and how many people may be included in one booking. Set each according to the service you can actually deliver.

Enable Customize Buffer Between Slots

Enable this to enter a deliberate gap between consecutive reservation slots. This is useful when a service needs time for preparation, cleaning or travel between appointments.

The gap is separate from the service duration entered in Basic Info. Do not add the same preparation time to both fields unintentionally. Turning the switch off and back on retains an entered gap, so review the value rather than assuming it has reset.

Buffer Between Slots: number

Enter the extra time you need. If a haircut takes 60 minutes and you need 15 minutes to prepare for the next client, keep the service duration at 60 minutes and put 15 Minute here.

When customization is enabled, do not leave the input blank. Enter the number deliberately and review it after leaving the field. A displayed value on returning to the step does not resolve an earlier required-field error unless the value has been entered.

Buffer unit: Minute, Hour or Day

Choose the unit together with the number. Fifteen minutes and fifteen hours create very different gaps.

Changing the unit keeps the numeric value. If you change 15 Minute to Hour, review and correct the number; the form does not automatically turn fifteen minutes into a quarter of an hour.

Use this control when you need to set the service’s simultaneous booking capacity explicitly. Review the number after selecting specialists, because their capacity can supply the value displayed here.

Turning customization off can restore a specialist-derived value and show the setting enabled again. If you intend a specific capacity, enter it explicitly and check it again after changing the specialist selection.

Number of available slots per time period

Enter a positive whole number for how many bookings may share the same time slot. A value of 3 describes three bookings at that time, not a three-minute interval and not automatically three people inside one booking.

Zero is rejected when creating the service. Do not use zero in this field as a way to make the service unavailable; it is a capacity input with a positive-number requirement.

Enable Customization of Maximum Quantity Per Order for Reservations

Enable this to set a limit for the people included in one booking. The form then shows the maximum quantity and a customer-facing label for that quantity.

This is separate from simultaneous booking capacity above. Use it when, for example, one booking may cover a small group, regardless of how many separate bookings you allow at the same time.

Maximum Quantity Per Order

Enter the largest number of people you intend to include in one booking. A value of 2 describes a booking for up to two people; it is not a limit of two separate appointments at that time.

Use a positive whole number. Zero is rejected during final creation. Check this limit alongside the simultaneous capacity, and make sure your staffing and service arrangement support both choices.

Maximum Quantity Per Order Label

Use a clear noun phrase that tells the customer what they are counting, such as Number of guests or Number of people. Do not put the numerical limit here instead of entering it in Maximum Quantity Per Order.

The text field allows up to 100 characters in normal typing. Keep it much shorter when possible so the customer can understand the quantity without reading a sentence.

Quantity-label language selector

Choose Arabic or English and enter the matching wording. Both versions belong to the same numerical limit; switching languages does not create a different maximum for each language.

Review the translated version separately. Number of guests and عدد الضيوف are a consistent pair; leaving one version with unrelated wording would make the same field harder to understand.

Next, final Create and correcting errors

Next can take you to Advanced Settings before these capacity errors are reported. Final Create still validates them. Reaching the last step does not mean every earlier value is valid or that the service exists.

If Create asks you to complete required fields, return with Previous to Options. Correct the positive-number messages under capacity and quantity, and enter any enabled but empty buffer. Review all settings before attempting creation again.
