Payment Methods in Rekaz: names, languages and activation
Use this page to define custom payment methods for invoices paid inside the platform. It lists standard payment categories and lets you create or edit custom names. Custom methods do not appear on your website.

Create Payment Method
Create Payment Method opens a custom method for use inside the platform. Use a recognizable name when your team needs to distinguish one internal payment label from another.
The new form starts with Activate Payment Method switched on. Review that setting before saving, especially when preparing a method that should remain inactive for now. Nothing is added until Save succeeds.
The page separates standard payment categories from your custom methods.
Payment Method Name
Enter the name your team should recognize when using this method. A name is required. For a new method, enter it first in the current platform language; an empty required name prevents saving.
Choose the name for its meaning to your team. For example, if you use an internal label for a particular bank transfer, the Arabic and English names should describe that same method. Naming a method after a bank or provider does not connect it to payment processing.
Language selector beside the name
Use the selector beside the name to edit its Arabic or English version. Enter each translation yourself. The values stay in the form while you move between the two languages, and Save stores them together.
This selector changes which name translation you are editing. It does not change your platform interface language or enable a website payment gateway.
Activate Payment Method
Use Activate Payment Method to set the method’s status. A new method starts active; turn the switch off before saving if you want to prepare it without activating it yet.
After saving, read the Active or Inactive status in the list. The switch controls the status: writing “inactive” in the name does not deactivate a method.
Edit / method name
Select the method name or Edit in its row to open the saved names and activation status. Check that you opened the intended method before changing it. Save updates that method; Cancel leaves its saved values unchanged.
Save
Select Save after checking the name in each language and the activation switch. Save and Cancel are temporarily unavailable while the request completes. A required-name message means the form has not saved; select that language and complete the name.
On success, the dialog closes and the list shows the saved method. Confirm its name and status, then reopen it if you need to check both translations. This saves a configuration; it does not record an invoice payment.
The edit form contains a translated name, activation switch, Save and Cancel.
Cancel / Close (×)
Use Cancel or × to leave the form without saving its current edits. If you were editing an existing method, its previously saved name and status remain unchanged.
Read the page correctly
Standard Payment Methods lists Cash, Online, Bank Transfer, Point Of Sales and Installment services. These items are categories displayed on this page, not gateway activation switches.
The custom-method table shows Name, Status and Actions. Select the name or Edit to open the method.
A custom method is an internal payment label. Giving it the name of a bank, card or payment provider does not connect that provider or activate payment processing.
Limits and common edge cases
If Save asks for the English or Arabic name first, return to that language in the name selector and fill it in. For new methods, match the current platform language.
Add translations deliberately. Changing the platform interface language does not write translated names for you.
The example remains Inactive. Treat the saved status as the result; entering “inactive” in the name alone does not change activation.
Custom methods will not appear on your website. Use Payment Settings for payment gateway setup.
Choose distinct, recognizable names so your team can select the correct method.
Check your change
After saving, confirm the name and status in the table. Reopen the method and check each translated name.
This page configures the method; it does not record an invoice payment.
