Format customer notes in Rekaz: every editor control
Use formatting to make a note easy to read, then save the note itself. The icons below act on the selected text or the paragraph containing your cursor. Link, color and image icons open additional controls.
Customers → open customer → Notes → Create Note / Edit
Undo / Redo arrows
Undo reverses the latest available edit in the current editor; Redo reapplies an edit you undid. An unavailable arrow is disabled. Use these while composing, not as a substitute for checking a saved note.
If a formatting change affects more text than intended, undo it and make a smaller selection before trying again.
B: bold
Select a short phrase and use B to emphasize it. Use the same control to remove bold from selected bold text. Emphasizing “after 5 pm” can make a preference easier to spot than making the entire note bold.

Write and format the note before saving
I: italic
Use I for a lighter distinction within the text, such as a short clarification. This changes appearance; it does not change the meaning of a task, booking or customer preference elsewhere in the system.
Strikethrough
The crossed-out-text icon draws a line through the selected words. The words remain in the note. Do not use strikethrough expecting it to delete a booking, cancel a request or remove a task.
H1 / H2 / H3
H1 makes a main heading, H2 a subsection heading and H3 a smaller subsection heading. They apply to paragraphs, so keep the heading on its own line rather than selecting one word in the middle of a sentence.
A short customer note often needs no heading. In a longer note, use a heading such as “Visit preferences” followed by the actual details below it.
Bulleted list
Use the bulleted-list icon for several related facts with no required order. Keep one point in each item. For example, appointment-time preference and preferred specialist are separate facts that a reader can scan quickly.
Numbered list
Use the numbered-list icon when the sequence matters. Numbering organizes the text; it does not turn the items into assigned tasks or track their completion.
Link icon → Link URL → Add Link
Select meaningful text, open the chain-link icon and enter the destination in Link URL. Use the full intended web address, then Add Link. The selected words become the link text; a label such as “reference form” is easier to read than a long address.
Check the address before adding it. A link to an image is different from inserting an image into the note: use the image controls when the picture itself should appear.

Select text and add its destination link
Update Link / remove-link icon
With the cursor in linked text, reopen the link control to review its existing destination. Change the URL and choose Update Link to replace it. The broken-chain icon removes the link while keeping the words.
Removing a link is different from deleting its text. Re-read the sentence afterward to make sure it still tells the reader what they need.

Update or remove an existing link
Palette: preset colors
Select the text, open the palette and choose a color swatch. The palette offers twelve presets and indicates the current choice. Choose a color with enough contrast against the editor background.
Do not rely on color alone to explain an important condition. Write “confirm before booking” explicitly rather than expecting a reader to infer that meaning from red text.

Preset text colors and a custom color value
Custom color picker / hex value
The color swatch opens the browser’s color picker. The adjacent text field accepts a complete six-digit hex value beginning with #, such as #3B82F6. These controls change the text color, not the note’s background.
When using the text field, replace the whole value with a valid code. Incomplete values do not apply a new color. Review the visible result before saving.
Image icon → URL → Image URL
Use Image URL for the address of the image itself. A page containing a picture is not the same as the picture’s address. Put the cursor where the image belongs before opening this panel.
Choose an image that adds useful information to the note. A separate document belongs in Attachments when the reader needs the file itself rather than an illustration within the text.

Image address, alternative text and insertion
Alt Text
Write a short description that conveys the useful content of the image. “Preferred style with a shoulder-length cut” is more informative than “image” or the filename. This is a description for the image, not the URL or a visible caption field.
Insert Image
After entering the image address and alternative text, choose Insert Image to add it to the note draft. This does not submit the note. Review the picture in context before using Submit on the note form.
Upload → Click to upload image
Use Upload when the image is on your device. Click to upload image opens file selection. Choose the intended image and allow the upload to finish before reviewing it in the editor.
This is the image tool inside a note. It is separate from Upload Attachment on the customer record. Do not assume that the attachment form’s 10 MB limit describes this image tool.
