Customer merging in Rekaz: main record and selected records
Merging combines records that belong to the same customer. Decide which record should remain before opening this form. Two people with the same name are not necessarily duplicates, and the direction of the merge matters.
Customers → open a customer
Main Customer
This is the customer whose record you opened before choosing Merge Customers. The form states that this customer will remain after merging. It is displayed as a fixed record here, not as a selector.
If you want a different record to remain, cancel and open that record first. For example, if one person has an established record and a second accidental duplicate, start from the established record you intend to keep.

Customers to Merge → search
Open the selector and search for the other records that belong to the same customer. The English selector currently shows Tenant Name, while the search input says Search customers; this control selects customer records.
The main customer is excluded from this lookup. Finding the main record with the page’s Search for another customer control does not mean it should also appear as a record to merge into itself.

Selected customer cards
Selecting a search result adds a card to the draft. Check the name and customer reference on each card against the Main Customer above. These are the records you propose to merge into the main record.
The same result acts as a toggle: choosing it again removes it from the draft. Review the cards after closing the lookup instead of assuming every result you clicked is still selected.
× / Delete on a selected card
The × button labelled Delete removes that card from this merge draft. It does not delete the customer’s record. Use it to correct an accidental selection before submitting.
Removing the last selected customer returns the form to its empty-selection message and disables Merge Customers. Cancel also leaves without submitting; reopening starts with no selected customers.

No customers selected yet describes the merge draft. No customers found describes the current search. Neither message means the main customer has been deleted.
With no selected records, Merge Customers is disabled. Check the search and the intended record before proceeding; a similar name alone is not enough to establish a duplicate.
Merge Customers
The form explains that subscriptions, reservations, deals, invoices, tasks, notes and attachments from the selected customers transfer to the main customer, and the merged customer records are then deleted. Review this consequence before submitting.
This changes where the selected records’ information belongs. It is not a temporary search filter or a way to group separate family members.
Cancel / Close
Cancel or Close leaves without submitting the merge. Use it when the main customer is wrong or the available information is insufficient to confirm that the records belong to one person.
