Customer details in Rekaz: contact information, branches and preferences
Use New Customer to create a record, or Actions → Edit on the intended customer to update it. Start with information you actually know. Optional fields do not need invented values, and company details belong in the additional fields shown for a corporate customer.
Customers → New Customer / Actions → Edit
Customer Name
Enter the name your team uses to recognize the customer. This is required; an empty name prevents submission. Before editing, check that you have opened the right record, especially when several customers share a name.
Choose a country
The flag beside Customer Number selects the phone number’s country. Choose the country that issued the number, then follow the format shown beside it. The country choice and the number need to agree; a customer’s current location alone does not tell you which country to select.
Customer Number
Despite the label, this input is the customer’s phone number: it includes a country selector and a phone-format example. Do not enter an internal customer reference here.
If the field has no required marker and the number is unknown, leave it empty. A number you do enter must be valid for the chosen country. Recheck the digits rather than changing the country merely to get past an error.
Enter the complete address, including the part after @. This field can be left empty, but a partial address such as a name without a domain is rejected. A correctly formatted address can still contain a typo, so check it with the customer rather than relying only on the form’s validation.
Address
Enter the relevant street or address information. When separate Building Number, District, City and Postal Code fields appear, put each part in its own place. Repeating the city in every field makes the address less useful. Follow the required markers shown in your form.

Branch
Choose the branches associated with this customer. The selector accepts more than one branch; after closing it, review the names displayed in the field. The last branch clicked does not replace earlier selections.
For a customer associated with two branches, select both and check that both names remain visible. Selecting branches changes the current form; use Submit to save the customer.

More than one branch can be selected
Birth Day
Choose the actual birth date when it is known and relevant. Future dates are unavailable in the calendar. Use the month and year selectors to reach the right date; check the year carefully before selecting the day.
Leave an optional unknown date empty. Today’s date is not a useful substitute for missing birth-date information.

Language: Default, Arabic, English
Choose the customer’s preferred language, or keep Default when you do not want a specific preference for this record. This is a customer preference; changing it does not switch the platform interface you are using or translate the name already entered. If a language was already saved, selecting Default does not currently clear that saved preference. Reopen the record and check the result before relying on a reset.

Customer Type: Individual / Corporate
Use Individual for an individual customer. Corporate reveals Company Name, CR Number, VAT Number and separate company-address fields. Choose the type that describes the customer, then complete the relevant details; do not select Corporate merely to get extra note fields.
If Customer Type is missing from the new-customer form, check Settings → Invoice Settings → Customers Type. Manual leaves the choice available for each customer. Individuals uses the individual form without a type selector; Corporates shows company fields without that selector. This setting concerns your customers, not the legal form of your own business.
For example, if you serve individuals but also need to register companies, Manual lets the person entering a customer choose the appropriate type. Save the invoice setting, then reopen New Customer to check the result. Changing the business-wide setting is a separate action from saving the customer you are entering.
Custom Fields: a list choice
The fields in this section are configured by your business, so labels and available choices can differ. In a single-choice list, select the answer that fits the customer. For example, Preferred contact time can offer Morning and Afternoon; choose the customer’s preference, not the time you happen to be entering the record.
A custom-field answer records information. Selecting Morning does not itself schedule a call or send a message. Review the selected answer before submitting.

Submit
Review the whole form, including fields further down, then submit. Correct the message beside any invalid field and try again. The form closes after a successful save. When checking a saved change, allow the record to finish loading before comparing its values.
Cancel / Close
Use Cancel or the close icon to leave this form without submitting its current changes. If you only opened a record to inspect it, cancel when finished. Selecting an option or typing text is not a substitute for submitting the form.
