Rekaz categories: choosing and adding services

Last updated: September 22, 2026

Add Service assigns existing services to the category. Search and type filters help you find the right items, but the selected count tells you what will be saved—even when some selections are no longer visible in the filtered list.

Services → Categories

Add Service

Open Add Service inside the intended category. Check the category name at the top of the dialog before selecting anything. This dialog chooses existing services; it does not ask for a new service’s price, duration or booking settings.

Services already assigned to this category are omitted from the available choices. If a service seems missing, check the category’s current cards before trying to add it again.

Search services

Enter part of the service name in the dialog’s search field. This search is separate from Search categories on the page behind it. Use the displayed service name, which may remain in Arabic or English regardless of the platform language.

If no results appear, clear the search and review the type filter. An empty result list does not clear services you have already selected.

All / Reservations / Subscriptions / Services / Gifts / Other

Choose a type to narrow the available services. The count beside each type helps you judge the available list. Return to All if you are unsure which type contains the item.

For example, a package may appear under Other rather than Reservations. Switching types is a way to find it; it does not change the service’s type or remove an existing selection.

Service row and publication badge

Select a service row to add it to the pending selection; select it again to remove it. Check the name as well as the publication badge, such as Published or Internal.

An internal service can appear among the choices. Selecting it here changes its category membership; use the service’s own settings when you need to review its publication status.

Select All / Clear selection

Select All selects the services matching the current search and type filter, including matches beyond the initially visible rows. Narrow the list first when you want a particular group.

Clear selection removes the pending choices. Use it when you want to restart the selection, then check the selected count before saving. It does not remove services already saved in the category.

View more / Show less

The dialog initially shows a short list. View more reveals the remaining matches; Show less collapses it again. These controls change how many rows you see, not which services are selected.

Do not assume the first rows are the whole catalog. Search for a specific name or expand the list before deciding an item is unavailable.

Selected count after filtering

Selections stay selected when a different type or search hides their rows. You can therefore see “No results” while Save still shows a number.

For example, select a package, then switch to Reservations. The package may disappear from the results but remain in the pending selection. Clear selection if you no longer want it; changing the filter alone is not enough.

Save (selected count) / Cancel

Save adds the selected services to the category and closes the dialog. It is unavailable when nothing is selected. Check the category’s service count and cards afterward.

Cancel closes without adding the pending selection. Reopening the dialog starts a fresh selection; a canceled search and selection are not a saved draft.
