Rekaz categories: finding, editing and controlling visibility
Use categories to group services around what a customer is looking for, such as hair appointments or massage. The Categories page manages the group itself; its name, branches and visibility deserve a separate review from the services inside it.
Services → Categories
All categories / category name
Choose a category’s name in the side list to concentrate on that category. All categories returns to the broader list. The number beside a category is its service count; the number beside All categories counts categories in the current results.
Search and branch filtering can change that category count. A lower count after filtering does not mean categories were deleted.
Search categories
Enter part of the category name. This searches categories, not the services inside them. Clear the text to return to the unfiltered names.
For a bilingual category that does not appear under its English name, try its Arabic name as well. Also clear the branch filter before assuming the category is missing. Changing the search returns the page to the matching categories rather than keeping a previously selected category isolated.

Branch filter / All Branches
Use the branch filter to review categories associated with a location. For example, a category assigned only to the default branch can disappear when you select a different branch. All Branches broadens the results again.
This filter changes what you are viewing. To change where a category belongs, edit the category and use its Branch field. Filtering a page is not a substitute for saving that assignment.

Add Category
Use Add Category when the grouping you need does not exist. The form collects the category title, URL ending, SEO description and branches. Create the category first, then use Add Service inside it to choose existing services.
A useful category name describes a group a customer can recognize. For example, “Hair appointments” can hold cutting and styling services; repeating each service name as its own category makes the list harder to navigate.
Edit category / Save / Cancel
Use the pencil on the intended category. Review the title in each language, the URL ending, SEO description and branch selection before saving. The Arabic and English text fields hold separate versions; editing one language does not translate the other for you.
Save applies the category edits. Cancel leaves the previously saved values in place. If you are only checking which branches are selected, close with Cancel to avoid saving an accidental change. The category-creation reference explains each metadata input in detail.

Published / Hidden / Confirm
The status button opens a confirmation explaining the proposed visibility change. Published makes the category available on the website; Hidden keeps it for internal organization without showing the category to customers there.
Read the destination status in the confirmation before pressing Confirm. Cancel leaves the current status unchanged. For a grouping used only by your team, choose Hidden; do not delete the group merely to remove it from customer navigation.
Category visibility and an individual service’s publication status are separate settings. Review both when preparing the customer-facing catalog.
