Announce a coming-soon service without opening bookings in Rekaz

Last updated: September 15, 2026

Add a coming-soon announcement in a Rich Text section and keep the actual service Internal. Visitors can read the announcement without a booking button in that section. This is separate page content; it does not add a Coming soon status to a published service card. Adding those words to a published service name does not stop bookings.

Treat announcing a service and opening its bookings as separate actions. Service status controls publication, while a text section explains what is coming. The example announces Complete Care on the homepage and keeps the actual service Internal.

Before you start

Start in Services on the Rekaz dashboard, then open Website Builder.

  • Use an account that can manage service status and edit and save the website. Confirm the correct business website.

  • Identify the service and prepare a short description in each language you use. Only announce a specific launch date when it is confirmed.

  • If customers already have bookings or packages involving this service, review those commitments separately before changing its public visibility.

1. Keep the actual service Internal

Open Services and find the service. If it is Published, open Actions → Set as Internal, verify the service name and select Confirm. Check that the status becomes Internal. Leave an already Internal service unchanged. If the service does not exist yet, you can prepare the announcement without creating a bookable service.

2. Open the page and announcement section

Open Website Builder, then Pages, and choose the homepage or the intended page. Its saved name may remain الرئيسية. Under Sections → Content, select Add Rich Text. If an announcement already exists, select its heading in the preview to edit it instead of adding another section.

3. Write the announcement without a booking link

Enter a Title such as Coming soon: Complete Care. In Text, explain the service and say that bookings are not open yet and the launch date will be announced here. Do not add a booking or payment link. Check each field’s language and enter the other version if you use both English and Arabic.

4. Review the mobile announcement

Return using Rich Text at the top of the panel to clear the section selection. Check Mobile preview and Desktop preview. Make sure the booking-closed wording is clear, the announcement is in the intended position and it contains no purchase button or link.

5. Save your changes

Select Save Changes and wait for saving to finish. Later edits to the wording or position also need to be saved before visitors can see them.

6. Check the website and the service

Open Visit Website and confirm the announcement appears on the intended page and in the correct language. Read it as a visitor and check that it contains no purchase link. Also verify that the Internal service is no longer in the general catalogue; test its old public link if you have it. Do not rely only on the builder preview.

Result

The saved announcement appears on the website without a purchase link inside it, while the Internal service stays out of the general visitor catalogue.

Published makes the service available in the general catalogue; Internal hides it from that catalogue. Changing to Internal does not replace its card with a Coming soon card. Add the announcement separately.

Renaming the service or booking button to Coming soon does not change publication status. Saving a text announcement does not automatically hide a Published service either. Check the service status first.

The announcement is descriptive content. Do not insert a booking or payment link while bookings are closed, and do not treat the wording alone as proof that purchases are disabled.

Title is the prominent heading, such as Coming soon: Complete Care. Text explains the service and clearly says bookings have not opened. You do not need a price or stock quantity to create this text section.

The title-language selector and the flag in the text editor are separate controls. Enter both fields for each language. Changing the builder language does not translate content automatically. Existing service names may stay in their original language.

Edit an existing announcement rather than adding a second copy. Check its position on the page, use the section arrows when needed and save the new position.

Internal does not cancel earlier bookings or orders. Customers with existing package access may still be able to use an included service. This procedure controls the general visitor catalogue and its announcement; existing commitments and staff operations are separate.

A text announcement needs no artificial booking, full discount or service-capacity change. Capacity and orders affect operations and records. Filling one time slot is not proof that every booking route is closed.

After saving, check the correct page and language and refresh when needed. Review both the announcement and the service catalogue: the announcement can be correct while the actual service is still Published.

When ready to launch, review the service settings, price and availability before publishing it from Services. Update or remove the coming-soon announcement and save the website. Editing the announcement alone does not publish an Internal service.
