The result of Delete depends on the entry you selected. A temporary shift, one occurrence of a recurring period, a whole weekly schedule and every working schedule have different scopes. Identify the dated entry first, then read the next dialog.

**Specialists → specialist name → Schedule Options or a dated time badge**

## Remove a one-day override

A one-day override appears among temporary shifts. Its Delete action opens Delete Shift. Confirming removes that override; the applicable recurring hours can then appear again for the date.

For example, removing an 11 AM–3 PM override can restore the current Monday pattern of 10 AM–4 PM. Do not use this action to make the date a day off: removing the exception can restore working hours.

## Delete this time slot

When you delete a recurring time badge, this option marks that occurrence as a holiday. The recurring schedule stays in place for other dates. Selecting the option creates the holiday; it is not just a preview of another confirmation.

A selected Monday period of 10 AM–4 PM creates a holiday for that date and time. View schedules then shows the recurring work schedule and a separate holiday. To reverse the exception, find that holiday and remove it after checking its date.

## Delete entire schedule

This removes the recurring schedule across its days, rather than marking one occurrence as time off. A second Delete Schedule confirmation appears. Cancel returns to the scope choice; Close leaves that choice without deleting.

Deleting the work-schedule row directly in View schedules also asks for confirmation. Temporary shifts and holidays remain separate: removing the recurring schedule does not remove those other records. Check what remains afterward.

## Delete All Shifts & Schedules

This action is in Schedule Options and applies to the specialist named in the confirmation. It removes that specialist’s recurring schedules and temporary shifts. Check the name and use Cancel if you only intended to change one date.

The confirmation warns that the action cannot be undone. Use it when you intend to clear the specialist’s working schedules, then review View schedules before entering a replacement.

## Holidays remain after bulk removal

Delete All Shifts & Schedules leaves holidays in place. In the pictured result, the weekly pattern and temporary shift are gone, while the September 28 holiday remains under Holidays.

Review those remaining dates before adding new working hours. If a holiday is no longer intended, remove that specific holiday separately. The No schedules empty state appears after the final remaining entry is removed.
