# Rekaz specialists: service areas, locations and delivery fees Source: https://help.rekaz.io/en/articles/17060640-rekaz-specialists-service-areas-locations-and-delivery-fees Updated: 2026-09-22 Use Geographical location and coverage area in a specialist’s profile to describe where she works. You can define service boundaries or pin a location for the nearest-specialist assignment option. Review the map, delivery fees and selected mode together, then save the profile. **Specialists → specialist name → Geographical location and coverage area** ## Enable coverage Turn on the section to set a service area or location. Decide which approach you need before editing the map: an area describes where the specialist serves customers; a location is a single point used by the nearest-specialist option. Turning the section off clears its areas and location from the current form. Turning it back on does not restore them. Do not use this switch merely to hide the map while you edit something else. ## Draw the service area / Add Beauty Expert’s Location Draw the service area lets you define boundaries; the page explains that only customers within the selected area can book the specialist. Add Beauty Expert’s Location uses a single map pin; the page describes automatic assignment to the specialist nearest the customer. Changing these two mode buttons preserves the areas and amounts already entered. This is different from turning the entire section off. Check the selected mode before saving, especially if you have tried both approaches. ## Add Area Add Area creates a triangular starting boundary at the current map position. It is a starting shape for you to adjust, not a finished service area. Move its corners or use the search to replace it with a place boundary. For a second service area, choose Add Area first. Its selected styling helps you identify which boundary is active. With several overlapping shapes, use the card rather than guessing from the map alone. The selected area matters when using search: the result replaces that area’s boundary. Check the card before choosing a result. ## Search for a city, neighborhood, or street Type the place name and choose the correct suggestion, checking its city or country. Typing alone does not apply a boundary. The map then draws a boundary you can inspect and adjust. If an area is selected, the search replaces its shape; it does not add another card. For example, to keep an existing city-center area and add a separate district, choose Add Area, then search for the district. Review the resulting outline before saving: a suggested outline can be approximate and may include roads or neighborhoods you did not intend to serve. The search belongs to service-area mode. Dragging a small point between corners adds another corner, letting you shape the edge more precisely. Review every side, not just the corner you changed. For example, if a starting triangle crosses into a district you do not serve, move the relevant corners so the boundary follows your intended coverage. Zoom in enough to see the roads that matter. Turn it on to enter the amount for that area. The field is marked Includes VAT: treat the number as the inclusive amount shown here, rather than adding VAT to it again in this field. For an area with a delivery fee of 25.50, enable its switch and enter 25.50. A different area can have a different amount. Check that you are editing the correct area card. Turning an area’s fee off resets its amount to zero. Turning it back on starts at 0.00, so re-enter the intended charge before saving. Review the displayed value after leaving the field: extra decimal digits are not retained, and a minus sign is not a way to create a credit. The amount input caps values at 1,000,000,000.00. This is an input limit, not a recommended charge. For everyday use, enter the actual delivery fee and check the formatted result before saving. ## Delete an area Use the trash icon on the card of the area you want to remove. The area disappears from the current form immediately, without a separate confirmation. Other area cards remain. Review the remaining areas and their fees, then save the profile to keep the removal. Be careful with adjacent cards: the delete icon belongs to its own area. ## Place or move the location pin In Add Beauty Expert’s Location, click the intended point on the map. A pin appears and the hint changes to Location pinned. Click the map to move it. Click a different point to correct the location. This moves the existing pin; it does not create a second service location. The current provider is excluded. A provider without saved geographic information is not a source in this list. Copying brings across the source’s areas and their delivery fees, or its location pin. It changes the destination profile’s draft; it does not change the source provider. If the destination already has geographic information, copying asks you to replace it. Cancel keeps the current destination settings. Confirm replaces them with the selected source’s settings; it does not merge the two sets of areas. For example, if your destination area has a fee of 40.00 and the source has 25.50, confirming the copy brings across 25.50. Reopen the specialist to check what was saved. The map’s appearance while editing is not a substitute for checking the saved area cards and amounts. If the map still shows an old outline after clearing coverage, save the intended settings and reopen the profile to inspect the current map. Do not keep drawing extra areas simply to cover an old outline.
