Use customer options when the same service needs different versions. A haircut for short hair might cost SAR 150 and take 60 minutes, while long hair costs SAR 220 and takes 90 minutes. Give each version a clear name and its own price and time. Optional extras belong in the separate add-ons section.

**Service Reservation → Basic Info → Add options for the customer**

## Add options for the customer / Add Option

The first button keeps the existing price as the first option and opens a second option. The new option starts with empty amount and duration fields; it is not a ready-to-use copy of the first.

Complete those required values before adding another option. If you only need two versions, stop at two. An accidental third empty card must be completed or removed before continuing.

## Option title

Describe the difference the customer needs to choose, such as Short hair and Long hair. Repeating Haircut on both cards leaves the price difference unexplained. The first option initially carries the service name, so review that name when you introduce alternatives.

In this reservation form, an empty option title did not block Next once amount and duration were filled. Still name the options: First Option and Second Option identify positions in the editor, not the difference between the services.

## Option language selector

Choose Arabic or English beside the option name, then enter that language’s wording. The other version is retained separately and appears beneath the field after entry.

For Long hair, enter للشعر الطويل in Arabic as well. Changing the language selector is a way to edit another version of the name; it does not translate the text for you.

## Amount

Enter the full price for this option, not the difference from the first option. In the haircut example, the long-hair field takes 220, not 70. The 0.00 shown in a new empty field does not satisfy the required amount.

Check the tax note beneath the amount; the pictured account displays Prices include tax. Review each card’s price after naming or reordering the options so that the more expensive version is paired with the intended name.

## Customize Duration: number and unit

Set the time for this particular option. Enter 90 with Minute for the longer appointment, and 60 with Minute for the shorter one. A price alone is not enough to complete the new option.

Read the number and unit together when you reopen a card. Sixty minutes may appear as 1 Hour. That is the same duration; 60 Hour is not. If you deliberately change units, check the numeric value before continuing.

## Customize / Add Discount

These controls belong to the option you have opened. Check its name before setting a deposit, SKU, pricing rule or direct discount. A new option has its own controls; do not assume the first option’s adjustments have been copied to it.

Use the linked pricing references for those fields. For a direct discount, distinguish the option’s original amount from its price after discount.

## Edit and returning from another step

Edit opens the selected card. Before changing a value, read the option’s name and existing amount. Returning with Previous from the next setup step can reopen the first option rather than the one you last edited.

If you return expecting Long hair at 220 and see Short hair at 150, open the long-hair card. Do not overwrite the short-hair price to make the currently open card match your expectation.

## Reorder, drag handle and Done

Reorder collapses the options into rows. Move a row using its dotted handle, then choose Done. The name and price move together: moving Long hair above Short hair keeps their amounts at 220 and 150 respectively.

Review the resulting order by name, not just First Option and Second Option, because those position labels change. Reordering is not a price edit.

## Trash icon and returning to one price

In a new service draft, the trash icon on the open option removes that option immediately. There was no second confirmation in this form. Check the name before clicking, especially after reordering.

Removing options until only one remains returns the form to a single amount and duration, without an option-name field or a delete control for that last price. The remaining price is retained. Use Add options for the customer if you need alternatives again.

## Next / Previous

Next checks the current step and moves on to specialists and schedules. Previous lets you return to review the options in the same draft. Neither moving forward nor clicking Done in reorder mode means the new service has been created.

Finish the remaining service setup before treating the draft as a catalog service. Before proceeding, compare each option’s name, full price and duration as one set.
