# Rekaz Loyalty: stamp-import fields and column mapping

Select a file, match its columns to the Rekaz template and review the preview before uploading. Mapping the required columns does not establish that every cell contains a valid value.

Choose the spreadsheet containing the stamps you intend to import. The form accepts .xlsx, .xlsm, .xls and .csv. Keep the mobile number, stamp quantity and any optional customer details in separate columns with recognizable headings.

Selecting the file opens column mapping. It does not import the records yet. Check that you selected the correct file before matching columns, particularly if you keep several versions of the same spreadsheet.

## Download Template

Download Template gives you the template for the import you opened. Use the stamps template to prepare this file, then select your completed copy in the upload area. This helps you organize the columns before mapping them.

## Mobile Number\*

Select the column that contains customer mobile numbers. This mapping is required: you are telling Rekaz where to read the mobile number for each row. The column’s heading may be Phone, Mobile or another name you used in your file.

Mapping a column does not fill missing numbers. A blank cell remains blank in the preview even though a column has been selected. Review the actual values throughout the original file, rather than treating a completed dropdown as proof that the data is ready.

## Stamps\*

Select the column containing the stamp quantities. This mapping is required and is separate from the mobile-number mapping. Check a few recognizable rows in the preview to make sure the number of stamps appears under Stamps.

A spreadsheet can contain several numeric columns. Matching the wrong one may still produce a column full of numbers, so check what those numbers represent, not just whether the cells are populated.

## Customer Name

Map Customer Name if your file includes names. Otherwise, leave the selection empty. This field is optional on the mapping screen. Review any automatically selected match and check that the preview shows names in this column.

## Email

Choose the email-address column if that information is in your file. Leave it unmapped when it is absent; there is no need to substitute a phone or name column to fill this optional selection. Check the preview to confirm the right values are under Email.

## Birth Date

Map the birth-date column only if your file includes it. Check the dates in the original spreadsheet and in the preview, especially if the spreadsheet displays dates differently from the values you entered. Leaving this optional field unmapped is appropriate when you have no birth-date data.

## Language

Select the column containing the customers’ language values when your file includes one. This is an optional data mapping; it does not change the language of the platform you are using. Leave it unmapped if your file has no language column.

## Next / Previous

Use Next to move from the completed mapping to the preview. Use Previous if the preview reveals a wrong match, such as phone numbers appearing under Stamps. Moving between these stages does not submit the import.

## Preview Data

The preview shows the first 10 rows after applying your column mappings. Read across each row: the mobile number, name and stamp quantity should belong together and appear under the correct headings.

These 10 rows are a sample, not a check of the entire file. Review the remaining rows in the original spreadsheet too. A correct first row cannot establish that later rows have no blanks or misplaced values.

## Upload

Upload is the final submission action. Use it after checking the file, all mappings and the preview. If the preview exposes a mapping mistake, return with Previous and correct it before submitting.

After submission, read the status and any errors reported by the product. Selecting a file or reaching the preview is not confirmation that an import has completed.

## Cancel / Close

Use Cancel on the first screen or Close to leave the dialog. Closing from the preview without selecting Upload does not submit that preview.
