Review submitted expenses by due date and branch, then use the type breakdown to understand where the total comes from. Draft expenses remain outside this report.

**Reports → Expense Reports**

## Reporting period

Choose the period of expense due dates to review. The report includes submitted expenses and excludes drafts. If a saved expense is missing, check its status and Due Date in the expense list, then check this report’s date range and branch.

## Today

Show expenses due today. This is one calendar day, not the previous 24 hours.

## Yesterday

Use the previous calendar day for a daily review. Both start and end become yesterday.

## Last 7 days

Include today and the six preceding days. For example, on 21 September the range is 15–21 September.

## Last 30 days

Include today and the 29 preceding days. This rolling range can span two calendar months; it differs from Last month.

## Last 90 days

Include today and the 89 preceding days. Use it for a longer rolling review, and read the displayed dates before comparing it with another period.

## This month

Start on the first day of the current month and end today. The report opens with this period. It does not automatically include expenses due later in the month.

## Last month

Review the full previous calendar month, from its first through its last day. Use this when you mean an entire closed month rather than the latest 30 days.

## This year

Start on 1 January of the current year and end today. For a different financial-year period, choose custom start and end dates.

## Last year

Review the previous calendar year from 1 January through 31 December. Check the year in both fields before using the result in a comparison.

## Since beginning

Choose the broad historical preset. Open the picker and read its Start date if the earliest included period matters; the label alone is not your account’s creation date.

## Start

Select Start, then choose a calendar day. The picker waits for an end date. If you close it after choosing only the start, it applies that day as a one-day range. To review several days, choose the end before closing.

## End

Choose the final day after selecting the start. You can use the same day at both ends. Check the completed range on the main date button; there is no separate Apply button on this desktop picker.

## Calendar: previous month

Move the displayed calendars back to find an earlier date. This navigates the calendar without changing the applied range by itself.

## Calendar: next month

Move forward to find a later date. Read the month and year, especially near a year boundary.

## Branch / All

Choose one branch to review its expenses, or All to combine branches. Changing the branch updates the report while keeping the selected period. Check both filters together before comparing totals.

## Refresh

Request an updated report after recording or changing an expense. Wait until refreshing finishes before reading the cards or exporting. Updated at shows the report’s refresh time, not an expense’s due date.

## Total Expenses / Number of Expenses

Read the amount and the record count together. One submitted expense of 125.50 contributes 125.50 and one record in its matching period and branch. A zero after loading means no matching submitted expenses; broaden the period or branch when you expect more.

## Expenses by Type / Expense Breakdown

Use the chart and breakdown to see each type’s share of the amount. The percentage represents its share of total expense value, while the number in parentheses is its expense count. For example, one type containing the only 125.50 expense shows 100% (1). Rounded percentages may not add up to exactly 100%.

## Export

Open Export after checking the period and branch. The format options use the current report filters. An export is a separate copy of that result; export again when you need a copy of later changes.

## Export as Excel

Download the matching expense details for spreadsheet review. The file includes the selected period and individual entries with type, branch, due date, amount, status and notes. It is more detailed than the chart’s category totals.

## Export as PDF

Open the report’s print view for the selected filters. Review the period and branch on that view before using your browser’s print or PDF controls.

## Reports breadcrumb

Return to the reports directory to choose another report. To edit an expense itself, open Orders → Expenses instead.
