# Rekaz Ads: prepare Performance Max images and your logo

Prepare images for each shape shown in Creative. A landscape picture and a square picture serve different spaces, so check the composition in each crop rather than assuming one upload fills every image section. Keep the service, product or main subject clear after cropping.

## Landscape Image

Use a wide image for the main advertising banner. The screen recommends 1200 × 628 pixels and initially asks for four landscape images. The remaining-image message decreases when an image is added.

Choose an image with room around the main subject. A tightly framed portrait may lose important details when cropped into a wide banner. A picture added here does not fill the separate Square Image section.

## Square Image

Use this section for square artwork. The recommended size is 1200 × 1200 pixels, and the empty section asks for four images. Selecting a file opens a square crop.

Keep any essential text or product details inside that square. If you reuse the same original photo, review this crop separately from the landscape version.

## Vertical Image (4:5)

This section uses a taller 4:5 crop, with a recommended size of 960 × 1200 pixels. The page recommends two vertical images for Excellent ad strength.

Treat the recommendation as guidance for the creative set. It does not promise that the campaign will achieve a particular result or that every placement will show the same picture.

## Logo

The logo identifies the business beside its name. The recommended size is 1200 × 1200 pixels. Check any logo already shown before uploading another one.

Use a clear business logo, not a service photograph. Check that its lettering remains readable when displayed small; a detailed poster is difficult to recognize in the logo position.

## Click to upload / Crop Image

Choose the upload area inside the image section you want to fill, then select your file. The crop shape follows that section: wide, square or 4:5.

The bright rectangle shows the part that will be kept; the dimmed area is outside the crop. Review the edges carefully before applying. If the original cannot fit without cutting off essential details, cancel and choose a better-suited image.

## Cancel / Close

Cancel leaves the image out of the ad and returns to Creative. Selecting a file and opening the crop editor does not by itself add a thumbnail or reduce the remaining-image count.

## Apply

Apply uploads the selected crop. Wait for its thumbnail to appear in the correct image section and check the remaining-image count.

Review the thumbnail itself, not only the count. If the crop removed an important detail, remove that version and upload a better crop. Adding an image does not launch the campaign.

## Remove image? / Cancel / Delete

Open the remove control on the image thumbnail to see the confirmation. Cancel keeps the image. Delete removes that image from the ad; the remaining-image count increases again if more images are required.

Check the thumbnail before confirming so you remove the intended version. The confirmation concerns this ad image, not every copy of the original file.
