# Can you merge two existing subscriptions in Rekaz?

The current Subscriptions page has no action to merge two existing subscriptions into one record or automatically combine their time or credit. Add another subscription within Create Subscription selects a catalogue service for a new transaction; it does not select one of the customer’s purchased subscriptions to merge with another.

A customer can have two subscriptions to the same service, with separate statuses, dates and related orders. Before arranging a replacement, establish whether you need a date change, a renewal or a new subscription containing services. The following checks help you understand the available controls without cancelling the customer’s subscriptions or accidentally creating an order.

## Before you start

Rekaz dashboard → Orders → Subscriptions.

- Use an account that can view subscriptions. Available actions can differ with staff permissions and the record’s status.

- Have the customer name or subscription number ready. Check the intended customer when names are similar.

- For a session package, also inspect its record under Packages. A visit allowance and a time period are different units.

## 1\. Review the customer’s two subscriptions

Open Subscriptions under Orders and search by customer name or subscription number. Compare Service/Branch, Subscription Status and Start & End Date for each record. Select an appropriate status, such as Active, if needed; use All when the other subscription might have a different status. Collapse the sidebar and scroll the table horizontally if needed to read more columns.

## 2\. Read bulk actions without applying one

Select the two records and open Quick Action. The menu includes actions such as Pause Subscription, Free extension, printing, exporting and cancellation. It does not include merging the records. Close the menu without selecting an action, then clear both row selections.

## 3\. Inspect the existing-record editor

Open Actions on one record and choose Edit Subscription. Review Start Date, End Date and Branch. There is no field here for selecting another subscription and transferring its duration or credit. Keep the values unchanged and choose Cancel inside the editor.

## 4\. Distinguish a new subscription from a merge

To inspect the difference, open Create Subscription, choose a service in Subscription, then select Add another subscription. The additional picker selects a catalogue service, not an old purchase to merge. You do not need to select a customer for this inspection. Choose Cancel and do not proceed with Next unless you intend a new transaction.

## Result

You understand the two records and available actions, and close the inspection forms without editing or creating a subscription.

The same customer or service name does not make two records one subscription. Review each record separately, including its start date, end date, status and linked order.

Days remaining describe subscription time, not money held as credit. When two periods overlap, do not automatically add their remaining days to determine a replacement duration. Establish the intended start and end dates and what happens to each existing subscription before agreeing on a replacement.

Edit Subscription changes fields on the selected record, such as its dates and branch. Additional fields can depend on the service. Customize beside End Date makes that date editable; it does not transfer value or time from another subscription. During this inspection, keep the values unchanged and choose Cancel inside the dialog.

Free extension, Renew Subscription and Transfer Subscription are different actions. Transfer Subscription moves a subscription to another customer; it does not select a second subscription belonging to the same customer. Do not execute these actions just to look for a merge route.

Add another subscription appears in the service-selection stage of a new transaction. The example shows the catalogue service اشتراك شهري and a second selection row, without selecting a customer or proceeding to payment. The new service’s price is not an automatic calculation of the remaining value of old purchases. Choose Cancel when you are only inspecting the options.

Subscription status and order payment status are separate. An Active subscription is not a substitute for checking its linked order, paid amount and remaining amount when arranging a replacement or settlement. Do not record a fresh payment merely to move an amount already paid, or assume that changing a subscription date settles the old order.

For a proposed replacement of two existing subscriptions, prepare both subscription and order numbers, included services, current dates, usage or visits remaining, and each order’s paid and remaining amounts. Specify the replacement’s intended start date and what should happen to the old records. Review that arrangement with your business administrator and Rekaz support before cancellation or replacement creation. Supplying this information does not establish that a merge is available or that value will transfer automatically.

If a record is missing from the results, check the search, status and filters first. Clearing a row selection does not cancel the subscription. Distinguish Cancel inside an open form, which closes that form, from Cancel Subscription in a record’s action menu, which acts on the subscription.
