# Limit package start dates to the next 30 days in Rekaz

You can limit the customer’s package start-date choices to the next 30 days through the service’s advanced settings. The relative limit uses the current date when start-date choices are displayed. It is not a separate timer started by a later payment transaction. The customer chooses a date within the window; entering 30 does not require a 30-day wait before starting.

For example, with a 30-day limit on September 14, October 14 is the last available start date and October 15 is disabled. Package Period remains separate: it controls the package’s usage duration from its start, rather than the window for choosing that start.

## Before you start

Open Services and identify the package customers purchase on your website.

- Use an account that can edit the service. Identify the correct Package, especially if another service or Bundle has a similar name.

- Review the package’s Period, price and usage allowance before editing. These steps change the start-date window while preserving those values.

- Open the package’s customer-facing website page to check the result. If it is Internal, review its availability before trying to preview the purchase flow.

## 1\. Open the correct package

Under Services, search for the package, check that its Type is Package, and open its name. Check the type when similar names appear.

## 2\. Review the package’s usage duration

In Package Information, review Period and its unit. Keep them unchanged when you only need to adjust the start-date window. This example has a one-month period.

## 3\. Open relative start-date settings

Open Advanced Settings. Turn on Date Configuration Mode if needed, then choose Relative Duration. If it is already selected, continue to its value. This limits how far ahead the customer may choose a start date.

## 4\. Enter 30 days

Choose Day first, then enter 30 in the duration input below Relative Duration. Review the value and unit together. Use this input, rather than Package Period or the usage allowance.

## 5\. Save and reopen the setting

Select Update Service and wait for saving to finish. Reopen the package and Advanced Settings to verify the saved mode and value. The editor may display 30 days as 1 Month.

## 6\. Check the customer calendar

Open the package’s website page and select Package Start Date. Navigate to the month containing the expected cutoff. Check that the final day within 30 days is available and the following day is disabled. Select the allowed day to check that it appears. You do not need to complete a purchase just to inspect the calendar.

## Result

A relative start-date window is saved and the website calendar offers dates through its last permitted day.

Relative Duration limits the latest date the customer can choose. It does not impose a minimum waiting period: earlier dates within the available window remain selectable.

For exactly 30 days, choose Day and then enter 30. Check both controls after changing a unit. Changing the unit does not necessarily convert the displayed number to an equivalent duration automatically.

When reopened, the editor may display 30 days as 1 Month. In this relative-duration input, Month represents 30 days. Check the actual last available date on the website instead of assuming this means the end of a calendar month.

Use a different positive number when your policy calls for it, such as 12 or 14 days. The window moves with the current date; it is not a fixed interval ending on the same calendar date for every future visitor.

Use Specific Dates when you need a fixed range of start dates for a campaign. Dates Start At and Dates Start At Limit define the first and last permitted start dates, not the end of the package’s usage period.

Switching between Specific Dates and Relative Duration changes which date settings are used. Record previous values before replacing them and review the selected mode before saving. Do not treat the two modes as automatically combined restrictions.

Do not leave the relative duration empty or zero when you need an explicit upper limit. Enter a positive number with the intended unit and inspect the calendar. Turning Date Configuration Mode off removes these date settings when saved; it does not apply a 30-day limit.

Package Period is independent. For example, you can allow starts within 30 days while keeping a one-month package duration. A customer chooses an earlier or later allowed start and retains the package’s configured usage duration.

These steps change the choices for new purchases. They do not reschedule previously saved customer subscriptions. Review an existing subscription separately if its start date needs to change under your agreement with the customer.

This setting does not create a new countdown from collection of money or make the first visit the start of that countdown. If your policy specifically starts after payment, do not rely on the calendar window alone as proof that the policy is enforced.

If a later date is still offered, reopen the correct package, confirm the saved duration and unit, and refresh its customer page. Test the final permitted date and the following day. A staff editor or existing-subscription calendar is not a substitute for the website purchase calendar.

In the Arabic interface, the relative option may be labelled as a minimum number of days before subscribing. Check the resulting calendar: the observed behavior limits the latest start date, despite that wording.
