# Change the dashboard and staff interface language in Rekaz

Select your name in the top bar, then choose English or العربية under Language. The page reloads in your selected language. There is no separate Save button for this change.

This changes the menus and controls in the administration dashboard. The example switches from English to Arabic, so the final screenshot shows the real Arabic result. You can switch back through the same menu.

## Before you start

Sign in to your Rekaz dashboard. The user menu is in the top bar and can be opened from any dashboard page. These screenshots use Settings.

-   Use your own staff login. Finish and save any open edits before changing the language, because the page reloads.
    

## 1\. Open your user menu

Select your name or profile picture in the top bar. The screenshots show the test account name Salon BA; your own account name appears here.

## 2\. Choose a language

Under Language, choose English for English or العربية for Arabic. This example selects العربية. Selecting a different language automatically reloads the page.

## 3\. Check the updated interface

Wait for the page to reload and check the menu labels. Here, Settings has changed to «الإعدادات». To switch back, open your user menu and select English under «اللغة».

## Result

The dashboard uses your selected language and the corresponding reading direction. In this example, Settings becomes «الإعدادات» and the sidebar moves to the right.

For staff: each employee opens their own user menu and chooses a language on the device they use. If a different browser opens Rekaz in another language, choose the language in that browser as well.

Dashboard language and customer website language have separate controls. Settings → Localization Settings controls languages available on the customer website. Use the menu under your name for the dashboard language.

Business, service and branch names that you entered are not automatically translated when you change the interface. These names can remain in their original language even when the menus have changed successfully.

To return to English from the Arabic interface, open your user menu and choose English under «اللغة». To return to Arabic from the English interface, choose «العربية» under Language. Allow the page to finish reloading before continuing.
