# Why is a service provider unavailable in Rekaz?

Rekaz provider settings can limit availability by concurrent booking capacity, post-reservation buffer time, assigned branches, and service area. Review these settings on the provider profile when a provider cannot be booked.

The current interface does not show the direct checks for provider-to-service assignment, normal working hours, or a Reservation Calendar view. It also does not show a current status for a day-specific override; it only shows that Rekaz provides an option to override an individual day’s schedule.

# Steps

1. On the provider profile, review the setting that controls how many people or booking units the provider can serve at the same time.

_The provider profile shows the setting that controls simultaneous booking capacity._

2. Review whether the provider has a buffer after reservations, which keeps the provider unavailable for the specified minutes after each reservation ends.

_The provider profile displays the explanation of the post-reservation unavailability buffer._

3. Review the provider’s branch assignment. If specific branches are assigned, confirm that the booking is for one of those branches.

_The provider profile explains that a provider with no selected branch is considered available in all branches._

4. Review the provider’s service-area rule if customers book based on location.

_The provider profile states that only customers within the selected area can book the provider._

5. In the provider schedule options, review the day-specific schedule override option for the requested date.

_The option to override one day’s schedule without affecting other days is visible._

# Important checks

Compare the start and end of the provider’s working hours with the complete duration of the service, not only the appointment start time.

If services or providers are assigned to specific branches, check that both the service and the provider are available at the relevant branch.

- The relevant workday must be enabled.

- The provider’s schedule must cover the full appointment duration.

- The provider must be linked to the selected service.

- The requested time must not overlap with an existing booking or closure.
