# How do I create a reservation service in Rekaz? Source: https://help.rekaz.io/en/articles/16425100-how-do-i-create-a-reservation-service-in-rekaz Updated: 2026-08-19 Create a Reservation service in Rekaz from Services. Configure its basic information, price and duration, optional choices and add-ons, assigned Beauty Experts, capacity controls, website presentation, gifting, booking rules, branches, and category. The service is not created until you select Create on the final Advanced Settings step. # Steps 1. Select Services in the Rekaz sidebar. _The Services page opens._ 2. Select New Service. _The New Service menu opens._ 3. Select Service Reservation. _The Create Reservation service form opens at Basic Info._ 4. Enter the service Name and, when useful, its Service Description. _The reservation service name and description are entered._ 5. Enter Amount. _The service price is configured._ 6. Enter Customize Duration and choose Minute or the required duration unit. _The appointment duration is configured._ 7. Optional: use Customize, Add Discount, or Add options for the customer when the service needs pricing or customer choices. _The selected optional configuration opens._ 8. Optional: under Optional add-ons with the booking, select Add New to add a paid add-on. _A paid add-on can be configured._ 9. Optional: under Images Gallery, select the upload area or drop the service images onto it. _The selected images are added to the service gallery._ 10. Select Next. _Beauty Experts & Schedules opens._ 11. Use Search to find the required Beauty Expert, then select that expert's row. _The Beauty Expert is assigned to the reservation service._ 12. Choose whether customers may select a Beauty Expert. _Provider choice follows the selected setting._ 13. Optional: enable Customize Buffer Between Slots, Customize Slots, or Maximum Quantity Per Order when the service requires those capacity controls. _The reservation capacity and spacing rules are configured._ 14. Select Next. _Advanced Settings opens._ 15. Optional: select Add Custom Field to ask customers an additional booking question. _A custom booking question can be configured._ 16. Open Website Settings when the service page needs SEO, button-label, badge, or preview changes. _The reservation service website controls expand._ 17. Under Gift Settings, enable Make this service giftable only when customers may purchase the reservation service as a gift. _Giftability follows the selected setting._ 18. Open Advanced Options and configure slot display, Maximum Advance Booking Period, and same-day booking only when needed. _The advanced reservation rules match the intended booking policy._ 19.
